Day 6: Rapa Nui

Today we went diving off Moto Nui. The little island I described earlier this week. It was fantastic. We went to a depth of 100 feet yet you could still see the surface as though you had just gone under the water and you could see another 60 feet below. It was beautiful. We have been diving with a nice group of people in particular an Argentine man who does a lot of interesting work for National Geographic. After the dive today we took it easy and walked around town and went to a few sites nearby. We also ate out for the first time (as restaurants here are pretty expensive). It was better than the daily pasta we had been eating.

Main little bay that houses some of the fishing boats and the dive boats.
A view towards town as we walked out to the nearby cave
Aforementioned cave. Note the paintings on the wall of the cave.
Ice Cream in the harbor!
