Peru: Ancash, Huaraz (the return)

We returned for a quality two more days in Huaraz...just enough time to enjoy a bit more time with Sandro y Richard at Hostal Colmena, go out with a few Peace Corps volunteers at the infamous 13 Buhos Bar, and drink amazing juice with Luisa and Tim at California Cafe. And even better, we finished the last bit of required work for medical school and will soon be doctors! Scroll down to check out Drew´s new jump suit....a Chavin school uniform. Doesn´t he look good?!

Awesome juice at California Cafe. Orange, Passion Fruit, Strawberry and Pineapple. mmm...

Tim, Luisa and Byron. Our friends and the owners of California Cafe in Huaraz. (Tristian - the boy in front really wanted to be in the photo. He is the son of Alex and Bruni for those familiar with the Huaraz expat scene.)
Richard and Sandro at Hostal La Colmena. Really couldn't ask for a nicer group of people to welcome you to their hostal. Can't imagine staying anywhere else in Huaraz. Will always appreciate their Sandro's optimism and Richard's humility.
I will be wearing this whenever I am not required to wear scrubs. Chavin school uniform.
